Melissa is an accomplished interior and lighting designer with extensive experience in the creative and appropriate use of light sources, balancing energy efficiency and design aesthetics. As a principal lighting and interior designer for ArcLight, Melissa currently develops lighting and interior designs exclusively for Brian Zagorites LLC. She has designed the lighting for thousands of residential and light commercial spaces. Her broad understanding of the most sophisticated lighting and controls equipment is the result of over twenty years of specifying lighting in prominent residences and high end commercial establishments across the country. Melissa has instructed lighting courses at the University of New Hampshire and starred on more than 25 episodes of “This Old House” WGBH- TV in Boston. As the lighting designer for the show’s co-star, Norm Abram, she is featured in his book “Norm Abram’s New House”.
